2012.10.13 ACSE 20th Annual Meeting: Director of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Zhuang Rongwen, , and Yang Guoqiang, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Chicago, gave greeting speech. Mr. Mike Frerichs ,Illinois senator for the 52th district , Senior Vice President of Forest City Group and Director of Illinois Science Park, Mr. Michael Rosen, Mr. John Robinson, Director of the Board,Blue Tech Alliance, Chinese Embassy in the United States Minister Counselor Li Chaochen (right) and Ms. Cathy Peng, Chief Marketing Officer, Ethertronics, delivered a wonderful keynote speech. The Sino-US scientific and technological cooperation on economic development, water and energy investment potential and foreground analysis, children education were held as the three forums in the afternoon.

2013.7.27 Summer Picnic with lot of Family Fun Games. Shanghai Circus provided the live performances. Alumni Association and other professional associations organized various family fun games, including basketball, volleyball, Frisbee, Skipping, hula hoop, water vapor ball, and other ten activitiess, with more than a thousand participants, unprecedented scale.
2013.9.7 Yunnan Province visitedChicago to co-organize job fair with ACSE to recruit high-level talent. The Yunnan delegation was led by the Provincial Zhaoyang Industrial Park Management Committee Director Wang Chuanbin, more than a dozen provincial and ministerial leaders present, providing more than 500 jobs. Emphasis was on the biological industry, medicine, new materials, environmental technology, mechanical and electrical integration, and other different areas of overseas high-level talent.
